Designate a voting delegate and two alternates for the League of California Cities' Annual
Business Meeting scheduled for September 3 -5, 2014.
BACKGROUND:
This year's League Annual Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3 through 5 in
Los Angeles. One very important aspect of the Annual Conference is the annual Business
Meeting when the membership takes action on conference resolutions.
To expedite the conduct of business, every City is being requested to designate a voting
representative and two alternates who will be present the City at the Business Meeting. League
bylaws provide that each city is entitled to one vote and to determine a city position in matters
affecting municipal or League policy matters.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
