The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding Appeal Application No. 88-4andCUP87-16 at 7:48 p.m.
The Clerk of the Council presented the Mayor with a written communication
from the proponents requesting that the hearing be continued.
MOTION: Continue consideration of Appeal Application 88-4 and CUP 87-16
to November 21, lC88.

90.A. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Pete Maddox, 805 E. Fairway, Orange, apologized to Council for his
comments made at the previous Council meeting with respect to the City'spolicyconcerningretentionofpropertyfoundbystaffinCityparks. He
also expressed continued concern with respect to t~e homeless, and a
willingness to work with the City in any project to improve the situation
of the homeless.

Vice Mayor McGuigan reminded the audience present that there would be no
Council meeting on October 17, 1988.
