As part of the Information Services Strategic Plan, all Fire Department servers' were replaced this fiscal year. The configuration and installation of the server cluster, located in the Fire Communications Center, is critical to the efficient operation of the computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, which is provided and exclusively owned by TriTech Systems Inc. To prevent system malfunctions that are caused by hardware that does not meet software configuration specifications, it is desirable to have TriTech install, configure and engineer the server cluster. Funds are available in the Strategic Plan account (account no. 79-179- 6641, project # 2725).
