NS -2913 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 2016 -03 REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 415 AND 423 SOUTH RAITT STREET FROM SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R -1) TO OPEN SPACE LAND (0) The City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Service Agency ( PRCSA) is requesting to rezone two parcels of land from residential to open space to allow the construction of a future public park. At this time, PRCSA has not yet conducted any technical studies and park designs have not been drafted. This action is solely a land use action required in order to facilitate the future construction of such park and to assure the park will be in conformance with the City's General Plan and Zoning designations. As part of this application, staff will amend the General Plan Land Use Element text and map and zoning map.
