MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 2016-01
10:35 a.m.
Verny Carvajal, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall Ross
Annex Conference Room 1600.
Also in attendance were: Mindy Andrews, Applicant; Mr. Arturo, Resident; Melanie McCann,
Senior Planner; Lisa Storck, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary.
No written communications were received.
Ms. McCann presented the staff report.
Mr. Arturo stated his support for the project.
Ms. Andrews provided background of the foundation as well as pictures of the site.
Condition No. 3 was modified to state continuous landscaping in all areas of the chain link
fence be included. Condition No. 5 was added that should the chain link fence become
unusable due to age or disrepair, it will be replaced with wrought iron as originally planned.
Ms. Andrews stated her agreement to the modified conditions.
The Zoning Administrator noted it made sense to maintain the existing mature
vines/landscaping and adopted a resolution approving Minor Exception No. 2016-01 with
modified conditions.
The hearing adjourned at 10:55 a.m.
