PUBLIC HEARING
1. TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 2017-01 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3, 2}
Legal noticed published in the Orange County Reporter on February 3, 2017 and notices
mailed on February 3, 2017.
Assistant Planner II Orozco described the project and recommended the adoption of a
resolution approving Tentative Parcel Map No. 2017-01 as conditioned.
Zoning Administrator Carvajal opened the Public Hearing. The following spoke on the
matter:
James Owens: Expressed concern with potential negative impacts on his property.
Kurt Rice: Opposed the architectural style proposed by the applicant; requested that
the applicant maintain architectural continuity of the neighborhood; requested a traffic
study be conducted.
Timothy Steele: Expressed concern with potential financial impacts on his home and
the impact of construction on the neighborhood.
Terri Steele: Expressed concern for the scale of the proposed property and multi-
tenant issues; inquired about the impacts of construction on the neighborhood and
financial impacts on her home.
Addie Durmon: Asked if the proposed project would result in the need for her to put in a
sidewalk in front of her property.
No other comments were received and the public hearing was closed at 10:48 a.m.
A question and answer period ensued between staff, residents, and applicants regarding
the proposed project.
The Zoning Administrator continued consideration of matter to the Zoning Administrator
meeting on March 8, 2017.
