HomeMy WebLinkAboutPowerPoint_75B - ZOA2017-01ZONING ORDINANCE STREAMLINING 2.0 Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2017-01 Sec. 41-195.5 (h) Farmers' Markets To allow farmers' markets in the commercial and industrial zones subject to a land use certificate Sec. 41-522 After -hour markets in C -SM zone To allow retail markets to open between 12 mid -night and 5 am with a conditional use permit consistent with other commercial zones Sections 41-159, 41-159.57 41-195.57 41-199.37 41- 3657 41-365.5, and 41-489.5 of SAMC, Table 3-2 of the Harbor Mixed Use Transit Corridor Specific Plan (SP2), Table 3 of the Metro East Mixed Use Overlay Zone (MEMO), and Table 2A of the Transit Zoning Code - Specific Development No. 84 (SD -84) - Tattoo and/or Body Art Establishments Allow tattoo and/or Body Art Establishments by right subject to operational and development standards Zoning (C1), (C2) & (C4) Schools (K-12) - Parks M 500 Fool Buffer TRANSIT ZONING CODE (SD -69) HARBOR MIXED USE TRANSIT CORRIDOR No tattoo and/or body art establishment shall operate between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., unless a CUP is approved by the Planning Commission. Temporary establishments or events are not authorized by this section, unless a Land Use Certificate is approved by the Planning Manager. The facility shall be designed to screen tattooing and/or body modifications or similar services performed on a patron from persons outside the facility. Signage, advertising, or images depicting specific anatomical parts shall not be placed in the windows or be visible to persons outside the facility. A sign shall be posted on or by each entrance stating that no person under 18 years old shall be allowed without parent or legal guardian. The applicant/operator of the Tattoo and/or Body Art Facility shall also comply with all applicable state and local laws as they may be amended from time to time, including Health and Safety Code Sections 119300 et seq. (California Safe Body Art Act), Penal Code Section 653 and 655 and Chapter 18 of this Code.
