This action informs the City Council of the imminent approval of this subdivision, based upon the Subdivision
Map Act and meeting of all the conditions of approval set by the City. The City Engineer has received Final
Parcel Map No. 2015-138 (City Parcel Map No. 2015-02) for 1600 East Saint Andrew Place (Exhibit 1) from
the Pacific Center Owner, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company, and is in the process of reviewing
the map for technical accuracy and final approval.
This map approves subdividing a parcel into two industrial parcels leaving each parcel with an existing
building. The parcels are located in the Specific Development No. 69 (SD -69) Zoning District, which is
consistent with the General Plan land use and the zoning designation. Tentative Map No. 2015-138 was
approved by the City Council on August 16, 2016. Pursuant to Section 34-183 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code, the City Engineer shall approve or disapprove this map within 10 days after the City Council meeting
of December 5, 2017.
STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT
This item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, Objective #2 (create new
opportunities for business/job growth and encourage private development through new General Plan and
Zoning Ordinance policies).
