Subject: Grant Vote Tonight - Second Chance OC
Mr. Solorio,
I am a resident in your district. You and I met last year on another local issue. Thank you for your support on
that issue.
I would like to ask for your support on another matter. 1 understand tonight is a City Council vote on grants to
public entities.
I ask for your support for Second Chance OC.
I volunteer my time with the earnest organization. We are dedicated to working with homeless and
recovering addicts. Our mission is to land them employment and them partner each of them for one year to
insure that they have returned as stable and viable members of our community. The majority of our "clients"
are from Santa Ana. (We take most our referrals from the Mercy House which operates several facilities in
SA.)
