<br />3 improvenernis. This project widened 4,300 lineal feet of
<br />Butterfield Stage Road from La Serena Way to Rancho
<br />California Rosi from a two to a fora -lane roadway with
<br />his lanes and a rated mcelian. The project widened
<br />gra easterlyslla of Butterfield Stage Road aril the pians
<br />required permits from the City of Temecula, County
<br />of Riverside Transporldrin Department and Flood
<br />Control District. The project involved extensive grading,
<br />20 -foot -high retaining wail design, and three drainage
<br />culvert extension. The project designed the Butterfield
<br />Stage Road and Rancho California Road Intersection
<br />Improvements, which included abaft signal modification;
<br />widening of 1,000 linear feet of Rancho California Road,
<br />and drainage Improvements. Design plats included plan
<br />and profile plans, signing and striping plans, grading plans,
<br />erosion control pigs, drainage plans, retalning wail plans,
<br />street gghWg pians, traffic signal modilcagon plans, and a
<br />water quality management pian.

<br />Carlos managed widening of Combs Avenue to relieve
<br />an existing bottleneck. The widening Improvement design
<br />was so mpilshad without right -away acquisition.

<br />additional through capactir removal and replacement
<br />of curb, guW,, sidewalk, curb ramps, and driveways;
<br />relocation of traffic signals, power pales, light poles, fire
<br />hydrants, and ublfiy boxes; and asphalt paving, trattic

<br />Carlos provided old engineering design to improve a 1.8 -
<br />mile reach of Pleasant Valley Road, an important arterial
<br />highway In the City of Camarillo. This project resulted from
<br />a condition of approval for the development of Village
<br />at the Park, a 450 -acre masterplonred community,
<br />Improvements consisted of widerniag the mad from two to
<br />four lanes; accommodating the widening of the bridge over
<br />Caileguas Creak and prbvlding adequate freeboard at the
<br />Creak; two new traft sigma and a signal modification
<br />at Le VAS Street; drainage improvements; and a sewer
<br />force main to serve the newly -developed community. The
<br />Project required permits from the City of Camarillo, and
<br />ono finstlon with Caltrans and it* County of Ventura.
<br />Jeffrey Road Infrastructure Improvements, irvine, CA

<br />Carlos managed the preparation of infrastructure plans,
<br />Including street improvements, right-of-way engineering,
<br />storm drains, shy, grading, water and sewer, dry
<br />utilities, specifications, and construction cost estimates for
<br />1.5 miles of Jeitrey Road for the City of Irvine. This project
<br />also included 1 mile of Porlola Parkway improvements.
<br />Both JeiErey Road and Porlole Parkway include
<br />reallomerds and street design for a able -Imre highway
<br />with raised modhans; pedestrian unde omosing; water and
<br />sower relocations up to 36 Inches In diameter; and dry
<br />utility design for electricity, gas, and cable. Improvement
<br />plans were processed and approved by the City of Irvine,
<br />Irvine Ranch Water District, and the County of Grange.
