She Is helping provide civil <br />engineering, rightof way services, landscape design, flood <br />control, uflMy relocations, and environmental permitting <br />through final PS&E. <br />Redondo Snob Cycle Track, Redondo Beach, CA <br />(Project Designer) <br />Susan helped develop plans for proposed bicycle friendly <br />facilities along two important roadways within Redondo <br />Beach's Marine district She helped prepare concept <br />drawings and final plans for the favored alternative, which <br />Includes a Class I separated cycle track and City Welcome <br />Park while increasing parking capacity within the coastal <br />zone. The project included traTflc analysis and simulation <br />of the mad diet and roundabout, conaepival visualization, <br />field survey and aerial topography, civil design of the cycle <br />track, drainage facilities, landscape and site furnishings, <br />and related signing and striping pians. <br />John Wayne Airport Campus DrivelBrlstol Street <br />Intersection improvements, Orange County, CA <br />(Project Designer) <br />Susan is providing design and engineering services. The <br />Project consists of widening southbound Campus Drive to <br />provide an additional 660 -foot• -long, third right -turn lane <br />onto northbound Bristol Street. <br />Burbank Channel Bikeway Project, Burbank, CA <br />(Project Engineer) . <br />We are providing full A-E and environmental services to <br />the City of Burbank which completes an Important bikeway <br />link through design of a Class I bikeway and mutt) -use <br />trail along the Burbank Channel, This bikeway will extend <br />from the City s Matrolink station south toward the Los <br />Angeles River Trail located just beyond the City limits. We <br />have provided presentations at eounoil meetings, met with <br />the commonly in open gatherings and on"n-ane with <br />the City, and also helped develop a community survey to <br />gather Input from all Interested members. Our concept <br />designs looked odosaly at each of their concerns and <br />provided detailed oostestimates of the proposed project <br />adematives. One of the interesting project challenges Is <br />the conversion of an abandoned rad road spur tine bridge <br />to be used for the bikeway with added protective railing. <br />We are also providing at -grade crossings at four locations <br />and linkages to dead-end streets at four locations. <br />*Domw/es proppis completed vier other firms <br />Bayview Drive Improvements, County of Orange, CA <br />(Project Engines) <br />Susan provided professional engineering services for the <br />sleet improvements including preparation of a Focused <br />Study Report Her services Included an alternatives <br />analysis to alleviate flooding and pending Issues, as well <br />as avoid utility conflicts during the construction of a new <br />storm drain and shut improvements, right-of-way studies, <br />detail hydrology and hydraulics computations, and <br />preparation of the Environmental Analysis Checklist, <br />Moulton Parkway Smart Street Widening <br />Improvements, EI Toro Road to Santa Maria Avenue, <br />Laguna Woods, California (Project Engineeri <br />Susan served as project engineer for civil engineering <br />and design services for Moulton Parkway Smart Street <br />Improvements Including Class 2 Bikeway from 400 feet <br />north of El Toro Road to 56 feet north of Santa Mafia <br />Avenue, Improvements Included raised medianislands, <br />median and parkway landscaping, concrete bus pads, <br />street lights, m odifkation of existing tragic signals, signing <br />arab striping, soil nail wall, retaining walls, wrought iron <br />fencing, and adjusting and relocation of utilities. Stantao's <br />services Included preparing PSE documents for the <br />Proposed Improvements. Close coordination with the <br />Orange County Public Works and other consultants was <br />needed to, achieve the goals of the project. <br />On -Call Street Improvements In Lake Forest's Light <br />Industrial Area, Lake Forest, CA (Project Engines* <br />Susan provided engineering for Front Street, Orange <br />Avenue, and Whisiar Driv"I located in a light <br />Industrial area ---to improve roadway surface, drainage, <br />and pedestrian amess. The scope of work Included <br />Preparation of numerous aldomatives to design <br />improvements with the least of right-of-way impact.
