GENERAL FUND SPECIAL REVENUE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />COPS Hiring Grants <br />PROGRAM <br />127 -Various <br />This Fund includes the revenue and expenditures related to the COPS Hiring Grant received from the <br />United States Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Semites (COPS Office), and <br />the Human Options Grant received from the United States Department ofJustice Office on Violence Against <br />Women (OVW). <br />SERVICE PROGRAM <br />2016 COPS Hiring Grant <br />This program budget includes funding for the 2015 COPS Hiring Grant. The Police Department funds a percentage <br />of 10 Police Officers through this grant. The total grant amount is $1,250,000 over a three-year period. <br />2016 Human Options Grant <br />This program budget includes funding for detective overtime to investigate domestic violence cases. <br />5-40 <br />
