<br />CSG has extensive experience In the design and management of complete streets and:pavement 
<br />rehabilitation projects throughout California. Projects have utilized various methods of pavement 
<br />meintemnce and rehabilitation, ineludinedigouts,full depth rehabilitation, slurry, microsurfacing, scrub,

<br />The Town of Colma selected CSG to rna%gd'the rehabllitation and beaytiflcation pf Hillside 0oulevord, a 
<br />principal north•south arterial through the Town, which spans approximately T,s.rnHes from the Only City city 
<br />Iltnit to the South San PrAnciseo city limit. CSG was involved in the. master planning, final design and 
<br />construction of this beautification project, During the master plamring stage of the project, CSG conducted 
<br />traffic stwdles, attended study sessions with various Town's departmental directors, presented our 
<br />conceptual design to the community at two public meetings and effectively coordinated with project 
<br />stakeholders, City staff and City Council to review and approve anaesthetically pleasing design concept which 
<br />was in compliance with the Town's General Plan and Master Sign Program. CSC worked closely with the 
<br />Planning Department to deliver a conceptual design that incorporated:ajl elements of "complete streets," 
<br />Including sidewalks, lighting, and bike lakes. Design elements incorporated sheltered left turns to Oct as 
<br />traffic calming measures, additional street parking, continuous bike lanes, a continuous sidewalk where none 
<br />exist before, curb ramps, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and bio -retention Areas or "rain gardens", Two 
<br />traffic signal modifications were completed to match the new layout and bring those signals up to current 
<br />standards, The designIncorporated a retrofit to all Intersections and pedestrian access points throughout the 
<br />corridor In order to meet ADA requirements, In addition, the entire length of roadway was rehabilitated by 
<br />full -depth reconstruction. 
<br />SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS I CITY OF SAN MATEO, CA 
<br />CSG Consultants was selected by the City of San Mateo to provide both topogrephic survey and design 
<br />services for this federally -funded project. CSG acted as the prime -consultant for the topographic survey 
<br />effort, which Included topographic survey for 13 school sites and a total of 32 local Intersections, The design 
<br />scope included curb extensions, curb ramps, and rectangular rapid flashing beacons at seven Intersections 
<br />throughout the City, CSG provided detailed curb ramp designs In accordance with the latest Caltrans Plan 
<br />Preparation Manual, Including station data, proposed slopes, and elevation date, CSG reviewed curb 
<br />extensions impacts on drainage patterns, and prepared hydrology and hydraulics calculations to support 
<br />trench drain designs and the modification of an existing drainage Inlet. 
<br />in addition to preparing the PS&Es for work adjacent to three school sites, CSG helped to coordinate the work 
<br />of four design consultants to assemble a single bid schedule and set of technical specifications In anticipation 
<br />of the Caltrans E-76 Request to Proceed with Construction. CSG provided conformance reviews of all 
<br />consultants' plans and estimates to ensure that federal.requirernentswere met, and facilitated coordination 
<br />between the City and consultants to ensure any potential project Issues were addressed In advance of the E- 
<br />76 Request. CSG also performed a peer review of the City's,front-end specifications to ensure that the 
<br />technical specifications and front-end specifications were coordinated, and that federal language was 
<br />incorporated,
