State College Boulevard/Ball Road Intersection <br />Improvement, Anaheim, CA (Landscape Architect) <br />Mark provided landscape architecture services for this <br />Improvement project, Improvements included the planting <br />design and irrigation design to provide parkway planting <br />and Irrigation and median planting and Irrigation. He <br />provided final landscape improvement designs as part of <br />the construction documents, <br />Sorrento Hills/Torrey Hills", San Diego, CA <br />(Landscape -Architect) <br />Mark prepared the construction documents and provided <br />construction management services for this 650-acre, <br />mixed -used development project. He was responsible <br />for the greenbelts, project monuments, slopes, a 14-acre <br />community park, open space, brush management, and <br />trail systems. Mark prepared the construction documents <br />for the parkway, medians, and adjacent greenbelts for <br />approximately 20 miles of streetscape located within <br />the project, Due to the size, location (coastal zone), and <br />production schedule, his construction services included <br />the management of contract growing of the plant material, <br />El Camino Real/Carmel Mountain Road at Torrey Hills, <br />San Diego, CA (Landscape Architect) <br />Mark prepared the landscape construction documents for <br />complete streetscape improvements, including 3 miles of <br />streetscape within the right of way along El Camino Real <br />from Carmel Valley Road and Carmel Mountain Road and <br />the adjacent slope improvements (roughly40 acres of <br />constructed slopes), that would ultimately be maintained <br />by the Sorrento Hills Landscape Maintenance District. <br />The streetscape design Included access driveways and <br />Intersections for commercial, multi -family residential, light <br />Industrial egress. Through design and construction, these <br />egress points were relocated. Mark helped coordinate <br />the ongoing plan modifications with the adjacent land <br />owners and their contractors to make the necessary <br />modifications to accommodate for these changes, At the <br />west and of the Carmel Mountain Road improvements, <br />It was necessary to prepare for a future on ramp at 1.5. <br />Tho Improvements were designed and processed in <br />accordance with the Caltrans standards Throughout the <br />project, Mark coordinated closely with Caltrans and the <br />local neighborhood representatives He also provided <br />construction management services from the time of <br />preliminary construction through project buy -off from the <br />maintenance district and/or Caltrans, <br />Blatchford Redevelopment Project, Edmonton, AB <br />(Landscape Architect) <br />Mark was the engineering consultant for Stage 1 of the <br />Blatchford Redevelopment Project, As the engineering <br />consultant, we designed and engineered Stage 1, which <br />Included an estimated development area of four to six <br />hectares, The scope included multi -family or mixed <br />use parcels as well as the design and construction <br />of stormwater management facilities and the offslte <br />Improvement that fall outside the boundaries of Stage <br />1. The project explored and exploited new technologies <br />and sustainable Initiatives that will cover the design and <br />Implementation of urban planning, water, wastewater <br />and stormwater management, transportation, landscape <br />architecture, sustainablity Implementation, electrical <br />and energy systems, IT communications, gaoteohnical <br />engineering, geomatics, and solid waste. Stage 1 was the <br />first of many stages that will ultimately achieve the City <br />of Edmonton's vision for the Blatchford Redevelopment <br />project, which is intended to redevelop 217 He of land <br />within the City's centre, Into a vibrant and world -leading <br />sustainable community. <br />Vista Sorrento Parkway at Torrey Hills, <br />San Diego, CA (Landscape Architect) <br />Mark prepared the landscape construction documents . <br />for complete straetscape Improvements, including 2 <br />miles of streetscape within the right of way along Vista <br />Sorrento Parkway. Some of the streetscape, and much of <br />the adjacent slopes, fell within the Caltrans right of way <br />at the I.605 and 1.5 interchange, Many of the landscape <br />Improvements also fell within the coastal region so it was <br />necessary to coordinate and plan for special re-vegetatlon <br />requirements and planting methods. Specialty seed <br />mixes were designed for coastal permit approvals and <br />custom planting techniques were implemented to aid in <br />the establishment of the planted landscape. Mark aided <br />In construction management services from the time of <br />preliminary construction through project buy -off from the <br />maintenance district and/or Caltrans. The Improvements <br />within the Caltrans right of way were designed to their <br />standards and ultimately accepted to be maintained by <br />Caltrans.
