Copy Room <br />Staff Lockers <br />Staff Kitchen Area <br />Staff Restroom <br />Public Lobby Area - This is a staging area for families, the general public, and other agencies wishing to <br />interact with persons in -charge at the Jail, or visiting inmates detained in the facility. Normally, this is a <br />lobby area with public seating. This area may include public toilets, water fountains, telephone, storage <br />lockers, seating, TV, staircases, and elevators to other floors. <br />Standards - Title 24 does not specifically respond to this space. <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS AT THE SANTA ANA CITY JAIL FACILITY <br />There is one main entrance in the front of the building that opens onto the second floor. Individuals <br />mandated to register as a condition of their probation or parole are processed in the lobby of the Jail <br />facility. <br />The total space allocated to the public lobby area is 2,706 square feet. <br />Observations and Evaluations: Consultant Evaluation Rating: 2.7 VeryAdequate <br />• The public lobby contains high quality finishes such as granite, porcelain fixtures, wood doors, and <br />flooring making it one of the most attractive detention facilities in the state. <br />• The public lobby of the facility is quite adequate and meets current needs. <br />• The public lobby counter contains eating for up to three staff. <br />Appendix B. <br />65A-159 <br />
