Medical Office <br />Records Storage <br />Medical Office <br />Medical Supply Storage <br />Programs / Classrooms - While an inmate is <br />being detained at the Jail, the Jail Bureau shall <br />provide a space for classroom functions to occur. <br />Each facility shall have multipurpose space for <br />games and activities, dining, visiting, TV meetings, <br />and quiet space for study and reading, such that <br />activities do not conflict with each other. <br />STANDARDS - Title 15 responds to the <br />requirements placed upon the Jail Bureau in <br />meeting the program needs of the detained adult. <br />The range and source of such services shall be at <br />6 the discretion of the facility administrator, and may <br />include (a) individual, group and/or family <br />counseling; (b) drug and alcohol abuse <br />counseling; (c) community volunteers; (d) <br />vocational testing and counseling; (e) employment counseling; (f) referral to community resources and <br />programs; (g) pre-release and release assistance; (h) legal assistance; and, (i) regional center services <br />for the developmentally disabled. <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS AT THE SANTA ANA CITY JAIL FACILITY <br />The Jail's four existing multipurpose rooms are utilized to run fourteen programs and seven different <br />religious services. Separate classes are offered for females and transgender inmates (as needed). <br />Classes are not held Saturday or Sunday, but religious services are.
