<br />Clint has 12 years of industry experience. He
<br />began at SCST as a Laboratory Technician, and
<br />is now the Director of Laboratory Services. He
<br />is responsible for the supervision of all testing
<br />to ensure tests are being performed according
<br />to standards set by Caltrans, the American
<br />Association of State Highway Transportation Officials
<br />(AASHTO), the American Society for Testing and
<br />Materials (ASTM), the Cement Concrete Reference
<br />Laboratories (CCRL) and other regulatory agencies.
<br />He is responsible for maintenance and procurement
<br />of any equipment required for certifications and/or
<br />approval by the various licensing agencies. Clint will
<br />provide oversight of all laboratory testing services to
<br />ensure all testing is performed in accordance with all
<br />applicable federal, state, and local specifications and
<br />regulations.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />+ Arlington Drive Bioswale and Dry Weather
<br />Diversion Project, Costa Mesa, CA: Laboratory
<br />director during a geotechnical investigation for the
<br />removal of 70,000 SF of asphalt, and the design
<br />and construction of a landscaped linear park with a
<br />vegetated bioswale, which will be approximately 2,500
<br />linear feet, and decomposed granite multipurpose
<br />bike/walking trail, which will be approximately one
<br />mile long. The removal of the asphalt will also result
<br />in the loss of on -street parking, so the project will also
<br />include a street parking study and proposed street
<br />parking layouts. The project is funded in part through
<br />the Orange County Transportation Authority Measure
<br />M2 Environmental Cleanup Tier 2 Grant Program.
<br />+ City of South Pasadena FY 16-17 Street
<br />Improvements, South Pasadena, CA: Laboratory
<br />director during a geotechnical investigation for
<br />the rehabilitation of existing roadway segments at
<br />Monterey Road and El Centro Street.
<br />• City of Coachella Veterans Memorial Park,
<br />Coachella, CA: Laboratory director during the $4.7
<br />million rebuilding of the four -acre park. Features
<br />included new landscaping, restrooms, shade
<br />structures, irrigation system, sidewalks, walking paths,
<br />play areas, and parking lots. A new amphitheater/
<br />stage, arched gateway, a memorial fountain and
<br />gardens contain monuments and dedication plaques
<br />recognizing area veterans. The construction was
<br />funded by a combination of grant funds, development
<br />impact fees, and a general fund.
<br />+ Valley Sanitary District Requa Interceptor, Indio,
<br />CA: Laboratory director during the construction of a
<br />$12.5 million project, consisting of four miles (22,000
<br />feet) of 10-inch to 36-inch gravity flow sewer pipeline
<br />and related utility improvements. SCST provided
<br />material testing, and special/construction inspection,
<br />including observation and testing of subgrade,
<br />aggregate base material, asphalt concrete, and utility
<br />trenching.
<br />+ Harris Street Groundwater Seepage Project, La
<br />Mesa, CA: Laboratory directors during a geotechnical
<br />investigation for the recommendations for shallow
<br />groundwater that was affecting streets and residential
<br />properties along Harris Street.
<br />+ City of Del Mar ConsultantAgreement, Del Mar, CA:
<br />Laboratory director during the design and construction
<br />of various projects including a new City Hall, slope
<br />reconstruction, sewer and water line replacements,
<br />sidewalks, and drainage and street improvements.
