<br />Tony has been in the construction industry for 18 years.
<br />He has provided soils and materials testing on many
<br />of SCST's projects, including numerous transportation
<br />projects throughout southern California. Tony is familiar
<br />with the standards set by OSHPD and DSA, as well
<br />as by the Cement Concrete Reference Laboratories
<br />(CCRL), American Society for Testing and Materials
<br />(ASTM), Caltrans, and the American Association of
<br />State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
<br />He provides observation and testing of all aspects of
<br />earthwork, as well as concrete testing and inspection,
<br />in accordance with project plans and specifications,
<br />and all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />+ City of Carlsbad As -Needed Services Contract,
<br />Carlsbad, CA: Observation and testing of asphalt
<br />concrete, subgrade, utility trenching, and aggregate
<br />base material, as well as concrete quality control
<br />during construction of the widening of El Camino Real,
<br />the Ocean Street beach access project, Pine Avenue
<br />Park Community Center and Gardens, Tri-Agencies
<br />Transmission Pipelines Reach 2 Phase 1, and various
<br />overlay and slurry seal projects.
<br />+ City of National City On -Call Geotechnical, Soils,
<br />and Materials Testing Services, National City, CA:
<br />Observation and testing of subgrade, aggregate base
<br />material, backfill, utility trenching, asphalt concrete,
<br />and grading, as well as concrete inspection for various
<br />projects including the widening of Plaza Boulevard
<br />and North Avenue, citywide alleyway improvements,
<br />upgrades at El Toyon and Kimball Parks, pedestrian
<br />midblock crossing enhancements, and Division Street
<br />traffic calming.

<br />+ 1-10 at Jefferson Street Interchange (Local Federal
<br />Aid Project No. STPLN-5956(235) and State Federal
<br />Aid Project No. ACNHPI-010-4(064)E), Indio, CA:
<br />Asphalt concrete observation and testing, as well
<br />as concrete quality control and concrete inspection
<br />during construction of the $53 million project. Work
<br />included a new interchange with standard diamond
<br />ramps, loop entrance ramps, and a new eight lane
<br />Jefferson Street overcrossing over 1-10. Acceleration
<br />and decelerations lanes were constructed on the
<br />westbound on -ramp and eastbound off -ramp, and
<br />ramp metering was added to the on -ramps. 1-10 was
<br />widened to accommodate a future fourth lane.
<br />+ 1-16 and Cajalco Road Interchange Improvements,
<br />Corona, CA: Observation and testing of asphalt
<br />concrete, backfill, and aggregate base materials, as
<br />well as concrete quality control during construction of
<br />the $45 million project. Work consists of the widening
<br />of Cajalco Road from a two-lane bridge to a six -lane
<br />overcrossing bridge on a new alignment north of the
<br />existing bridge. The bridgewill include a striped median,
<br />outside shoulders, and a sidewalk on the southern
<br />side. The existing northbound and southbound ramps
<br />will be reconfigured and all existing ramps realigned.
<br />The existing northbound on -ramp will be modified
<br />to serve the westbound Cajalco Road traffic and a
<br />northbound loop on -ramp will be constructed to serve
<br />the eastbound Calajco Road traffic.
<br />+ Rancho California Water District Camino Sierra
<br />Road Pressure Zone Conversion, Temecula, CA:
<br />Observation and testing of utility trenching and backfill
<br />during construction of 8,200 linear feet of 12-inch and
<br />8-inch diameter water distribution pipeline to convert
<br />an area of low service pressures (2070 PZ) to the
<br />adjacent 2350 PZ to improve water pressure along
<br />Camino Sierra Road and De Portola Road.
<br />+ City of Vista South Santa Fe Avenue Streetscape
<br />Improvements, Vista, CA: Observation and testing
<br />of utility trenching during construction of $8.4 million
<br />improvements from Ocean View Drive to Terrace
<br />Drive including sewer, water, and storm drains;
<br />undergrounding of overhead utilities; and streetscape
<br />improvements consisting of curb and gutter, BMP's,
<br />and other surface improvements. Work from Terrace
<br />Drive to Civic Center Drive included construction of
<br />sewer, water and storm drains.
