<br />EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES
<br />Tyler has 10 years of experience in the construction
<br />field. His prior experience includes a position as shop
<br />manager and head fabricator for commercial shop
<br />welding, machining, fabrication and CAD design. His
<br />is familiar with compaction, grading, over excavation,
<br />sub-Geogtid gravel baskets, building pads, footings,'
<br />shoring, keying materials, utility trenching, caisson'
<br />pile inspection, concrete field sampling, concrete
<br />batch plant inspection and epoxy dowel pull testing.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />+ City of Carlsbad As -Needed Services Contract,
<br />Carlsbad, CA: Observation and testing of asphalt
<br />concrete, subgrade, backfill, aggregate base material,
<br />and utility trenching for the widening of El Camino
<br />Real, and the extension of Recycled Water Phase 3
<br />Pipeline Segments 1A and 7.
<br />+ 1-10 at Jefferson Street Interchange (Local Federal
<br />Aid Project No. STPLN-5956(235) and State Federal
<br />Aid Project No. ACNHPI-010-4(064)E), Indio,
<br />CA: Observation and testing of asphalt concrete
<br />and wall backfill, as well as batch plant inspection
<br />and Caltrans testing during construction of the $53
<br />million project. Work included a new interchange
<br />with standard diamond ramps, loop entrance ramps,
<br />and a new eight lane Jefferson Street overcrossing
<br />over 1-10. Acceleration and decelerations lanes
<br />were constructed on the westbound on -ramp and
<br />eastbound off -ramp, and ramp metering was added
<br />to the on -ramps. 1-10 was widened to accommodate a
<br />future fourth lane. The project increases capacity and
<br />improves traffic operations for the foreseeable future.
<br />+ 1.15 and Cajalco Road Interchange Improvements,
<br />Corona, CA: Observation and testing of asphalt
<br />concrete, aggregate base material, and wall backfill,
<br />as well as batch plant inspection and Caltrans testing
<br />construction of the $45 million project. Work consists
<br />City of Santa Ana RFP No. 18-045, Geotechnical Engineering Services
<br />SCSIProposal No. 18-0308
<br />of the widening of Cajalco Road from a two-lane bridge
<br />to a six -lane overcrossing bridge on a new alignment
<br />north of the existing bridge. The bridge will include
<br />a striped median, outside shoulders, and a sidewalk
<br />on the southern side. The existing northbound and
<br />southbound ramps will be reconfigured and all
<br />existing ramps realigned. The existing northbound on -
<br />ramp will be modified to serve the westbound Cajalco
<br />Road traffic and a northbound loop on -ramp will be
<br />constructed to serve the eastbound Calajco Road
<br />traffic.
<br />+ Veterans Memorial Park, Coachella: Concrete
<br />quality control during the $4.7 million rebuilding of the
<br />four -acre park. Features included new landscaping,
<br />shade structures, irrigation system, sidewalks, play
<br />areas, and parking lots. A new amphitheater, arched
<br />gateway, a memorial fountain and gardens contain
<br />monuments and dedication plaques recognizing
<br />area veterans. The construction was funded by a
<br />combination of grant funds, development impact fees,
<br />and a general fund.
<br />+ Rancho California Water District Camino Sierra
<br />Road Pressure Zone Conversion, Temecula,
<br />CA: Utility trenching observation and testing during
<br />construction of 8,200 linear feet of 12-inch and 8-inch
<br />diameter water distribution pipeline to convert an area
<br />of low service pressures (2070 PZ) to the adjacent
<br />2350 PZ to improve water pressure along Camino
<br />Sierra Road and De Portola Road.
<br />+ Lemon Grove Avenue Realignment Project,
<br />Lemon Grove, CA: Concrete quality control during
<br />construction of a $6.3 million project consisting of the
<br />realignment and reconstruction of the off ramp from
<br />State Route (SR) 94 leading directly to North Avenue,
<br />construction of additional travel lanes, and work at the
<br />trolley/railroad crossing. The purpose of the project
<br />is to provide traffic safety and congestion relief. The
<br />project is partially funded through a SANDAG grant.
<br />Features of the project include new sidewalks built in
<br />accordance with ADA requirements to create a clear
<br />pathways; water efficient landscaping with drought -
<br />tolerant plants; improved stormwater treatment, where
<br />rainwater can be captured to water new trees and
<br />reduce irrigation costs, and will filter runoff through
<br />grass to remove pollutants; and the undergrounding
<br />of power lines.
