A Each party agrees to,raspond on all emergency ambulanee requests <br />within the contractual response time, frames as specified in Care Ambulance Service's <br />Emergency Ambularice Transportation Services Agreement with the County of Los <br />Angeles as is iit force at the time of tike request: <br />E. 'Each party agrees to maintain general and professional liability <br />insurance in an amount -which meets or exceeds all statutory.requiretnents of the :State <br />of California and as specified in Care Ambulance Sen -ice's Emergency Ambulance <br />Transportation Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles as is in force at <br />,the time ofthe request. <br />F. Each party agrees'to maintain'Workers ;Compensation insurance <br />coverage as required by the State of California and the County of Los Angeles <br />pursuant to the terms of the Emergency Ambulance Transportation Services <br />Agreement with the party's hereto. <br />3. COMPENSATION <br />A. Each party agrees to bill, for services rendered under this Agreement, <br />to the patient or appropriate third pary insurance provider in accordance with and as <br />specified in'the requesting party's Emergency Ambulance Transportation'Services <br />Agreement with the County of Los Angeles, if Applicable, as is in force at the time of <br />the request or the prevailing County_ of Los Angeles Ambulance Rate Ordinance, <br />whichever'rate is applicable. <br />B. The requesting party and the County of Los Angeles shall not be <br />financially responsible for backup service provided by the otherparry. <br />4. INDEMNIFICATION <br />Each party shall indemnify, defend and hold the other harmless and its officers, <br />employees, and agents from, and against any liability, claim or cause of action or <br />expense, including defense costs and legal fees arising from or coanecied with claims <br />and lawsuits for damages or workers' compensation bene ,fits relating to their <br />operations or services, which result from bodily injury, death, personal injury or <br />property' damage. <br />5. NOTICES <br />Written notice required under this Agreement shall be delivered personally or sent <br />by United States Registered or Certified Mail, postage prepaid, addressed or delivered <br />to the parties at the following'addresses: <br />250-284 <br />
