As a technician, Mr. Dalgity has extensive experience providing both <br />field and laboratory testing of soils and construction materials and maintains his <br />current soils and materials testing certifications from ACI and Caltrans. He provides <br />geotechnical observation and testing services during earthwork operations, including <br />mass grading operations, trench and wall backfill, and roadway and building pad <br />subgrade preparation. Mr. Dalgity also has experience in the requirements and <br />specifications in Greenbook for public works construction projects, as well as the <br />requirements of Caltrans for testing frequencies, test methods, and record keeping <br />as described in Caltrans Standard Specifications, Standard Special Provisions, and <br />the Caltrans Construction Manual. <br />John Wayne Airport On -Call Geotechnical Engineering, Materials & Inspection <br />Services : Serving as Laboratory Manager for the current contract for geotechnical, <br />materials testing and inspection services for major capital improvement projects at <br />John Wayne Airport. <br />City of Newport Beach 20162017 Slurry Seal Program, Newport Beach, <br />California: Laboratory Manager for the City of Newport Beach 2016/2017 Slurry <br />Seal Program. <br />Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), On -Call Materials Testing Services, <br />Los Angeles, California: Laboratory Manager/Technician providing laboratory <br />testing services for various school construction projects throughout LAUSD. Services <br />include materials conformance testing and special deputy inspection services in <br />accordance with the requirements of the Division of the State Architect (DSA). <br />San Bernardino Associated Governments, SR -215 Segments 1 and 2 Project, <br />San Bernardino County, California: As a field technician, Mr. Dalgity provided <br />materials testing and inspection services during construction of the SR 215 <br />Segments 1 & 2 project in San Bernardino, California. The project consisted of <br />widening and realignment of approximately 2.4 miles of the existing SR 215. The <br />construction accommodated 4 mixed flow lanes and 1 high occupancy vehicle lane <br />in each direction. Services include construction observation and intermittent field and <br />laboratory testing of the construction materials used in the proposed project. Services <br />also include observation, sampling and testing during embankment construction <br />(earthwork), structure backfill, trench backfill, subgrade preparation, aggregate base <br />placement, lean concrete base placement, Portland cement concrete pavement, <br />asphalt concrete pavement placement, structural concrete placement, and batch <br />plant inspections.
