All <br />indoor conduits maybe EMT. Route all cabling and wiring up above the T -bar ceiling panels. <br />• Connect to the city network switch. <br />Additional Installation Requirements: <br />1. All required fire stopping shall be UL listed 3M Fire barrier Caulk or 4hr, UL rated <br />equivalent is required. Retain one (1) used cartridge for documentation. <br />2. Each pole and field enclosure location shall be Interconnected via conduit <br />3. All outdoor equipmentshall be weather proofed to protect devices, cabling and structures <br />from the outdoor elements. <br />4. All risers and lateral connections Into the field enclosures, both Security and IT/Telecom <br />enclosures shall be schedule 80 rigid steel construction. <br />5. Conduit elbows may be schedule 80 PVC construction, assuming the connection to steel <br />risers occurs within the concrete foundation. Any conduit elbows that are not embedded <br />within a concrete foundation shall be schedule 80 and rigid steel construction. <br />6. All above ground conduit shall be galvanized rigid steel unless otherwise noted. <br />7. Conduit runs shall allow for SODA additional capacity. All conduits shall have a "pull string" <br />Installed and remain for future use. <br />8. All work shall meet or exceed the latest requirements of all national, state, county and <br />municipal codes. <br />9. All required permits and inspection certificates shall be provided by others. <br />10. All work shall conform to the National Electrical Code, National Fire Codes, NFPA Life Safety <br />Code and other local codes. <br />General Terms & Conditions: <br />11. Prior to any daily work being conducted, a safety tallboard meeting shall be conducted with <br />all contractors and site personnel. This training will be re -conducted every time there are <br />new personnel working on site. <br />12. All affiliates of the contractor shall dress in appropriate work attire bearing their respective <br />company logo for recognition. When working at the Police Department all affiliates of the <br />contractor shall report to CDC, for sign in and temporary badging for the day. They must <br />also notify a Siemens and/or City's site representative every time they are to be on site. <br />Failure to adhere to the rules set forth in this and subsequent CoSA issued documents <br />regarding security protocol shall be grounds for removal from the site. <br />13. The contractor shall be responsible for the cleanup at the site after each day of work, Failure <br />to adhere to workplace neatness shall be remedied at Siemens's expense and subtracted <br />from the overall cost of the project. <br />14. Work conducted at the site shall be coordinated in advance with the Siemens project <br />manager and on the site personnel/representative. Schedule and designated working <br />procedures will be adhered to unless otherwise agreed to by all parties in writing. <br />15. Existing Conditions: Prior to commencing work at site, verify the agreement of existing <br />conditions with indicated conditions. Notify the Siemens Project Manager of discrepancies <br />found. Start of work without notification constitutes acceptance of condition, without extra <br />cause for costs. <br />Page 12 <br />
