5. OCSD officials shall approve construction of a new or using an existing OCSD sewer <br />lateral connection in advance (if applicable). The developer shall submit design plans to <br />OCSD for review and approval. After approval of the design connection plans by OCSD, <br />the City of Santa Ana will process an OCSD connection permit. Upon payment of <br />applicable OCSD permit inspection fees, a connection permit will be issued to the <br />developer by OCSD <br />6. Any existing sewer lateral(s) serving the project site shall be capped and abandoned at the <br />main line per City of Santa Ana standards, (contact Mir Fattahi for the latest sewer <br />abandonment standard.) <br />Contact Water Division, at (714) 647-3320, for assistance. <br />D. Prior to release of utilities or a certificate of occupancy, complete the followin¢: <br />1. Complete construction of all the required improvement in the public right-of-way <br />necessary to support that phase of development being proposed and provide a copy of the <br />signed off street work permit.
