Drive <br />Irvine, Calit. 92715 <br />A -!.:antion: Doris Starnes <br />Re: Fashion Square Redevelopment Project EIR <br />Dear Doris: <br />This is in reply to your letter of April 24, 1981, requesting Pacific <br />Telephone's input for the above mentioned EIR. <br />I <br />Our existing underground facilities are represented on the enclosed <br />record sheets (Route 1 Sheets 10, 11, 12). <br />The impact on the telephone network is similar for any of the four <br />alternatives, in that a reinforcement of the network would be necessary. <br />The degree of this reinforcement would vary from, new cables being <br />pulled into existing conduit systems, to, new conduit and cable systems <br />being built. In any case, the existing facilities are inadequate to <br />serve the proposals set forth in your letter. <br />I' Lead time is of the utmost importance in projects of this type.
