There are no public facilities or services that would be <br />impacted by the project. <br /> <br />XVI. RECREATION <br /> <br />a) Would the project increase the use of existing neighborhood and regional parks or other <br />recreational facilities such that substantial physical deterioration of the facility would occur or <br />be accelerated? Less Than Significant Impact. The project would not significantly impact recreation <br />facilities. Please see Public Services section “XV.a.iv)” above. <br /> <br />b) Does the project include recreational facilities or require the construction or expansion of <br />recreational facilities that might have an adverse physical effect on the environment? Less Than <br />Significant Impact. As discussed in section “XV.a.iv)” above, the project proposes to provide an on- <br />site fitness center, pool and spa, outdoor yoga and fitness court, residential gardens and outdoor <br />dining, and dog park for project residents. The proposed fitness center would be constructed during <br />construction of the project and would not have an adverse impact on the environment. The project <br />would not require the construction of the expansion of other recreational facilities that would impact the <br />environment. The project would not significantly impact recreation facilities. <br /> <br />XVII. TRANSPORTATION: Would the project: <br /> <br />a) Conflict with a program plan, ordinance or policy addressing the circulation system, including <br />transit, roadway, bicycle and pedestrian facilities? Potentially Significant Unless Mitigation <br />Incorporated. A traffic study was prepared for the project.38 A copy of the traffic study is included in <br />Appendix F. <br /> <br />The project is estimated to generate approximately 1,268 vehicle trips a day, including 84 AM and 103 <br />PM trips. The daily vehicle trips associated with the existing church were not taken into account to <br />provide a conservative estimate of the project trip generation.
