Mr. David Verone is a senior construction and project manager with <br />AKM. He has over 25 years' experience in project management, <br />construction management, inspection, scheduling, estimating, cost <br />control, change order preparation, and contract negotiation for <br />public works projects. His responsibilities have included monitoring <br />Mr. David Verone construction activities, traffic control, preparing daily construction <br />Role: Senior Inspector reports, design phase oversight, overseeing the public bidding <br />Education: process, verifying compliance with plans and specifications, <br />- B.S. Civil Engineering maintaining record drawings, final inspections and project startups. <br />— California State <br />Before starting atAKM, Mr. Verone was a Contract Administrator for <br />University Long Beach <br />a Public Agency for 15 years. He completed over 90 projects with a <br />- Engineering in Training <br />total value of $89,000,000. All projects were completed within the <br />Certificate <br />project schedule, and not one of the projects required additional <br />- Project Management <br />budget for completion. He facilitated contract administration for <br />Professional Bootcamp <br />capital improvement construction projects, monitored project <br />Years Experience: 25+ <br />progress, and assured compliance with plans, contracts, and other <br />Years with AKM: 1 <br />appropriate guidelines. He also administered a variety of projects, <br />and contracts, which required professional and/or <br />MAprograms, <br />technical engineering knowledge, as well as organization and <br />administrative knowledge and <br />skills. Mr. Verone held a supervisory role over subordinate staff <br />and contractors where he developed programs and procedures in support of departmental and <br />divisional administrative <br />objectives. He facilitated contract administration of written <br />documentation, communicated <br />with contractors and inspectors ensuring compliance with plans <br />and specifications, and oversaw construction activities and project progress. <br />Previous project and construction management work includes the following: <br />Mr. Verone was Project Manager for thousands of miles of paving streets spanning from residential <br />neighborhood to major arterials. Work included deep lift construction, full depth reclamation, slurry <br />seal, and parking lot paving. Also included in the following projects were rehabilitation such as right- <br />of-way including removal of trees, sidewalks, curbs and gutters.
