She has completed projects throughout <br />Southern California including planning, design, <br />and construction management of pipelines, <br />pump stations, storage reservoirs and water <br />treatment plants. <br />Relevant Experience <br />EMWD Cawston Lift Station Condition <br />Assessment. Hemet, CA <br />V&A Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&A) was <br />retained by West Yost Associates for condition <br />assessment services to support the Eastern <br />Municipal Water District (District) in a condition <br />assessment of the Cawston Lift Station (LS). <br />Located in Hemet, California, the Cawston LS was <br />built in 1976 and is currently out of service. The <br />design pumping capacity is 4.6 million gallons <br />per day. The areas included in the assessment of <br />the Cawston LS were the engine and generator <br />room, the pump room, the wet well, and the <br />exterior of the building. Condition assessment <br />methods included visual assessment, concrete <br />surface testing (sounding, penetration, crack <br />widths, pH), surface penetrating radar to <br />remotely determine reinforcement placement, <br />coating thickness measurements, and ultrasonic <br />thickness testing of metal components. V&A <br />developed a condition assessment Technical <br />Memorandum presenting the findings and <br />recommendations. <br />Enema Wastewater Authority Water Pollution <br />Control Facility 2019 Condition Assessments. <br />Carlsbad, CA <br />V&A Consulting Engineers (V&A) was retained by <br />Encina Wastewater Authority (EWA) to perform a <br />condition assessment of various facilities at the <br />Encina Water Pollution Control Facility (EWPCF) in <br />Carlsbad, CA. The EWPCF is a conventional <br />activated sludge wastewater treatment plant with <br />a liquid capacity of 40.5 MGD. The goal of the <br />project is to provide recommendations for facility <br />rehabilitation and/or replacement to allow EWA <br />to plan for capital improvement projects. <br />Condition assessments will be performed on the <br />primary sedimentation basins, CEPT chemical <br />feed and storage area, air handling units, screw <br />conveyors, heat exchangers, odor reduction <br />facilities biotowers, return activated sludge box <br />structures, and the secondary drainage and <br />scum storage pit. V&A will develop remaining <br />useful life (RUL) estimates. recommendations to <br />extend RUL, recoinmend ations for replacement, <br />and cost estimates. <br />MWD Lake Mathews and Lake Skinner Dams <br />Vaults and Pipe Condition Assessments. <br />Riverside County, CA <br />V&A Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&A) was <br />retained by AECOM to perform inanned entry <br />condition assessments at fourteen vaults along <br />the Lake Mathews Dam and Lake Skinner Darn. <br />In addition, V&A provided closed-circuit television <br />(CCTV) documentation of seepage piping at the <br />Lake Skinner Dam Spillway. Condition <br />assessment methods at the vaults included <br />visual assessment with photo documentation <br />and concrete surface testing including sounding, <br />penetration, crack widths, and pH). V&A <br />coordinated with Pro -Pipe to perform cleaning <br />and CCTV of the seepage piping at the Lake <br />Skinner Spillway.
