Comply with federal, state, and local management and <br />❑ <br />❑ <br />❑ <br />reduction statutes and regulations related to solid waste? <br />3.19.1 Existing Setting <br />The Project area is subject to the requirements of the Santa Ana RWQCB and is served by the Irvine <br />Ranch Water District Company. Electric services for Santa Ana are provided by Southern California <br />Edison, and the Southern California Gas Company provides the natural gas services. An existing 12- <br />inch water line and a bank of 12 phone conduits cross the Santa Ana River, suspended under the <br />deck of the existing bridge. The water service provider in the Project area is Santa Ana Municipal <br />Utility Works. The phone service providers in the Project area include AT&T U-Verse and Time <br />Warner Cable. The closest landfill to the Project area is the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill, located in <br />Orange County, approximately 14.4 mi east of the Project area. <br />3.19.2 Impact Analysis <br />a. Would the project require or result in the relocation or construction of new or expanded water, <br />wastewater treatment or storm water drainage, electric power, natural gas, or <br />telecommunications facilities, the construction or relocation of which could cause significant <br />environmental effects? <br />Less Than Significant with Mitigation Incorporated. Potential impacts related to the relocation or <br />construction of new or expanded water, wastewater treatment or storm water drainage, electric <br />power, natural gas, or telecommunications facilities, the construction or relocation of which could <br />cause significant environmental effects, are discussed below. <br />Water and Wastewater.
