Carvalho <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br />Daisy Gomez <br />RECEIVED <br />APR 2 8 2020 <br />4111110{Np{IB mwito <br />RE: The Bowery Project located at 2300, 2310, and 2320 South Redhdl Avenue <br />Dear Ms, Choum: <br />Pursuant to Section 4.7 of the Airport Environs Land Use Plan (AELUP) for John Wayne Airport (1WA), the <br />City of Santa Ana (City) requests that the Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) review the proposed <br />Bowery project for consistency with the Airport Environs Land Use Plan (AELUP) at its May 21, 2020 <br />meeting. <br />Project Summary <br />The Bowery is a proposed mixed -use retail, restaurant, and multi family residential projecton 14.69 acres. <br />The development would include 80,000 square feet (sq. ft.) of retail and restaurant space and 1,100 <br />multifamily units The project would consist of three mixed -use buildings 5 stories in height, one <br />residential building 5 stories in height, two commercial buildings 1 story in height, and three parking <br />structures with 6.5 levels of aboveground parking, and one parking structure with 6levels of aboveground <br />parking. The proposed building elevations can be seen in ALUC Attachment No. 4. <br />The project would also include approximately 222,000 sq. ft. of open space in courtyards, common area <br />amenities, a roof deck, and perimeter plazas and open space areas for residents and the public. The <br />project would require demolition of three existing industrial buildings.
