The Bowery Mixed -Use Project <br />3. Revisions to the Draft EIR <br />The last paragraph on Page 6.9, which carries over to page 6-10, Section 6.6.1, Environmental Impacts, is <br />revised as follows: <br />The No Project/No Build Alternative would operate the existing industrial buildings on the Project site, which <br />would not require a General Plan Amendment or zoning change. No impacts related to land use and planning <br />would occur by retention of the existing onsite uses. <br />V riduele residential uses, It would not -eeluire implementation ef Mitigation Measwe 6W 1, - -hich requi-es <br />resident notification of eirpeft operefiens end potential onne)anees. However, this alternative <br />would not implement the SCAG policies related to high -density, infill development, and improvement of the <br />job/housing balance and corresponding reduction in vehicle miles traveled. <br />The second sentence of the third paragraph on Page 6.16, Section 6.7.1, Environmental Impacts, is revised <br />as follows: <br />JWA is located 2.2 miles southwest of the Project site. It is not within the Airport Environs Land Use Plan <br />(AELUP) Notification Area, but is net the Airport Safety Zone, or the Airport Impact Zonez and is outside of <br />the 60 CNEL noise contours, as shown in Section 5.7, Hazards and Hazardous Materials (Figures 5.7-2 and <br />5.7-3). <br />The second paragraph on Page 6-17, Section 6.7.1, Environmental Impacts, is revised as follows: <br />oltemofi e would require of Mitigatien Measure LU 1, whieh requires resident nefifiEotoei e4 <br />. The Reduced Project Alternative would develop similar uses <br />that would be less dense, and two -stories lower in height than the proposed Project. Like the proposed <br />Project, the Reduced Project Alternative would be consistent with the JWA AELUP with implementation of <br />AAefigatiem Measure .
