After graduation, she started working at <br />CWE as Engineer I. Requirements of the WQIP to be <br />addressed include detailed hydrologic characterization, including flood hydrology and <br />continuous simulation hydrology; detailed hydraulic, geomorphic, and sediment transport <br />characterization; evaluation of the potential ecological and recreational enhancement from <br />rehabilitation; detailed assessment of constraints and opportunities; preliminary engineering <br />evaluation of restoration potential; preliminary evaluation of permitting issues; analyses, results, <br />and basis for recommended alternatives; preliminary cost estimates, schedule requirements, <br />and identification of key contingencies; and realistic assessment of funding sources and <br />appropriate phasing relative to other reaches. <br />City of Culver City Washington Boulevard P3 Urban Runoff Diversion Monitoring support <br />assisting with the evaluation of a diversion system to capture stormwater and urban runoff from <br />a drainage area of approximately 40 acres for the City of Culver City. The project is located on <br />Washington Boulevard near Walnut Avenue at the City boundary. The drainage area is <br />comprised of commercial and residential land uses completely within the City boundaries. The <br />system is expected to capture approximately 115,600 cubic feet of stormwater runoff. Tasks <br />include: review of the Geotechnicai Investigation Report and Percolation Test Results, <br />developing project concepts for diversion and bio-filtration systems, conducting an <br />environmental study, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and preparing a report, <br />coordinating with the LACDPW, performing a topographic survey, conducting a utility search for <br />the project site to identify existing or planned future utility conflicts along the proposed project <br />components, preparing PS&Es, providing community outreach support, and providing <br />construction support services. <br />
