She is <br />skilled in lithic analysis and excels at identifying the various stages of <br />production of stone tools. Her field experience includes work in the California <br />Central Coast, Orange County, Riverside County, Ventura County, Mono <br />County, the Tahoe region of the Sierra Nevada, and the Great Basin. Ms. <br />Collison also has experience collaboratingon eligibility reports forthe National <br />Register of Historic Places and contributing to Section 404 permit applications, <br />and has performed archaeological reconnaissance surveys for environmental <br />recovery projects following California wildfire events. <br />Current Availability: 35% <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Irvine Ranch Water District, San Joaquin Reservoir Filtration Facility <br />Project <br />Newport Beach, California <br />Ms. Collison prepared a cultural resources record search technical <br />memorandum for this project. The memorandum included the results of the <br />record search conducted at the South Central Coastal Information Center, as <br />well as management recommendations for the project. <br />Rancho California Water District, Vail Dam Seismic and Hydrologic <br />Remediation Project <br />Riverside County, California <br />Ms. Collison is overseeing preparation of the archaeological resources <br />assessment for this project. This project involves the demolition of the existing <br />arch dam and construction of a new gravity concrete dam downstream, with <br />associated construction and modification of inlet/outlet facilities, pipelines, a <br />spillway, and access roads. LSA is preparing the environmental document and <br />various technical studies for the project. The archaeological resources <br />assessment involves a field survey of approximately 600 acres and a record <br />search for the project impact areas. Ms. Collison is also assisting Rancho <br />California Water District with Native American consultation under Assembly <br />Bill 52. <br />Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, Green <br />Acres Dam <br />Community of Homeland, California <br />Ms. Collison served as a field archaeologist and Native American liaison on this <br />project. LSA was under contract to the Riverside County Flood Control and <br />Water Conservation District (RCFCWCD) to provide a cultural resources <br />assessment for the Green Acres Dam Project. Ms. Collison recorded and <br />mapped archaeological sites and documented the bedrock milling features on these sites for the project, in <br />addition to writing and compiling all necessary documentation for the cultural resources assessment. Ms. <br />Collison also led a visit to the archaeological sites in the project area for the Pechanga Band of Luise"no Indians <br />and the RCFCWCD. <br />
