FOG Control Program Manual <br />• Frequency of HGI inspections to check for leaking and for proper operation <br />(minimum monthly) <br />• Dishwashers or food grinders shall not discharge to or be connected to any HGI <br />4.3.1.6 Rule 6 - Notification Requirements <br />• Notification of a spill <br />• Notification regarding planned changes <br />4.3.1.7 Rule 7 - Record Keeping Requirements <br />• Logbook of grease control equipment cleaning activities <br />• Logbook of employee training <br />• Copies of grease control equipment records or waste hauling receipts <br />• Records of sampling data and height monitoring of FOG and solid accumulation in <br />the interceptor <br />4.3.1.8 Rule 8 - Drawing Submittal Requirements <br />• Proposed or existing FSEs may be required to submit facility site plans, mechanical <br />or plumbing plans, and other details to identify sewer locations or connections <br />• Drawings may be required to be prepared by a California Registered Civil, <br />Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer <br />4.3.1.9 Rule 9 - Monitoring Facilities Requirements <br />• Flow monitoring, constituent monitoring and/or sampling facilities may be required <br />• Location of monitoring and/or sampling facilities subject to approval of City <br />• FSE will provide immediate access to monitoring and/or sampling facilities during <br />regular business hours <br />• Waste analysis, contingency plans, and other necessary information may be <br />requested by the City to verify compliance <br />• FSEs shall not increase the use of water to dilute the discharge to achieve <br />compliance <br />4.3.1.10 Rule 10 - Monitoring and Reporting Conditions Requirements <br />• FSEs may be required to submit periodic reporting of the status of kitchen BMPs <br />(Rule 3) <br />• Visual monitoring of the FSEs sewer lateral or downstream sewer lines at the FSEs <br />expense may be required by the City <br />• Reports for self -monitoring of sewage constituents and FOG characteristics may be <br />required by the City <br />19F-190 9 <br />
