l <br />3r'd & Broadway <br />t Community Meeting -Meeting Minutes <br />GARi1i1ln`t)liS:fRit October 8, 2019 <br />Original Mike's Restaurant <br />6:00pm- 7:00pm <br />Meeting started at 6:00pm with a Meet and Greet of Guests and a Sign -in (see attached <br />sign -in sheet). Presentation Boards were on display and guests were invited to browse <br />and enjoy appetizers prior to power point presentation. Rod Gonzales, from Caribou <br />Industries, was present and available for anyone requiring an interpreter. <br />William Beaubeaux, the developer's representative, provided an introduction of the <br />team. <br />Tobin White, Architect, and Alison Bautista of Studio 1-11 provided the power point <br />presentation of the project. Tobin shared the projects high lights, design and <br />requirements. He also stated that is was a process in which we worked closely with the <br />City of Santa Ana planning department and the required parameters. <br />After the presentation, Tobin White opened the floor for a question and answer period. <br />Questions and Answers from the presentation: <br />Q: Concern on the parking, how many stalls are being provided with the Project? <br />A: There will be 196 Residential Parking, 83 Hotel spaces and 211 designated <br />Public Parking. <br />Q: How many parking stalls does the present garage Have? <br />A: Tobin stated he was unaware of the number of stalls the present garage <br />holds; but the city requirement was to provide 211 parking spaces. <br />Someone in the audience said they thought there was 400 spaces presently in <br />the garage. <br />Q: Will Sycamore Street be a promenade or thoroughfare? <br />A: Sycamore will be a thoroughfare, but designed to be pedestrian friendly street <br />with opportunities for potential collapsible bollards for street fairs, farmers <br />markets, etc. <br />Q: How many stories will the hotel be, how many stories will the residential be? <br />1103 North Broadway, Santa Ana, g5AU21 J(714) 543-9484 Fax: (714) 543-9972 <br />
