Our Senior Relocation Agents are communication experts and ensure displacees are fully informed of all <br />relocation assistance services, notices, moving assistance and advisory assistance. In keeping displacees fully <br />informed, we adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations including the use of all personal protective <br />equipment, and recommend utilizing such alternative methods as electronic signing, video conferencing, mobile <br />notaries and return shipping labels among other services as necessary. <br />In providing comprehensive relocation assistance our Senior Relocation Agents: <br />• Meet personally with each displacee, including <br />household, business, or owner of personal property <br />to conduct an interview and assess the nature and <br />Relocation <br />ID <br />scope of the relocation assistance required under <br />Planning <br />applicable regulations, and provide translation <br />services as necessary; <br />• Provide a General Information Notice (GIN) and <br />explain the relocation assistance process; <br />• Determine each displacee's maximum eligibility for <br />relocation assistance by performing a replacement <br />housing valuation (for residential displacees), <br />including moving, rental, or purchase price <br />differential assistance. <br />Relocation planning is a critical blueprint for <br />assessing and communicating relocation needs <br />and resources. Our team of Senior -Right -of -Way <br />Professionals conduct meticulous relocation <br />planning, identifying and communicating <br />relocation impacts and mitigation measures under <br />local, state and federal relocation assistance laws. <br />• When occupants are determined to be eligible, provide a Notice of Eligibility (NOE) outlining benefits, <br />assistance and limits; <br />• Provide displacees on -going referrals to suitable replacement locations and within displacees financial means, <br />and provides on -going advisory services, such as obtaining loans or information regarding available housing <br />programs (for residential displacees); <br />• Businesses are provided similar on -going advisory services, <br />• Assist displacees in obtaining move estimates or coordinating self -moves. <br />• Prepare and submit claims and other supporting documents, such as rental agreements. Wg's and transmittals <br />to PWA for review, approval and payment; <br />• As part of our OA/OC process, all claims are tracked, and payments previously made to displaces are <br />communicated to PWA with each claim submittal; <br />• Provide go -Day Informational Notices as necessary; <br />• Personally inspect residential replacement dwellings to verify they meet Decent. Safe and Sanitary (DS&S) <br />requirements and assist occupants in coordinating corrective measures if necessary to ensure safety; and <br />• Provide information on the Relocation Assistance Appeals Process and coordinate claim appeals as necessary. <br />a <br />PRO POSAL TO <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, RFP 2o- <br />25D-126 <br />13 <br />
