75 <br />QNT530: Research The course provides an analysis of the types, sources, methods, philosophy of business <br />Methods research for the completion of a research project. Emphasis is placed on research for <br />decision making purposes. <br />Prerequisite: None <br />5.0 Quarter Credits <br />LAW540: International This course provides students to the legal issues affecting international businesses. Topics <br />Business Law and Ethics include risks in international trade, documentary sales, bills of exchange, and letters of <br />credit. The course also reviews the competence of courts, international arbitration, and <br />enforcement of foreign money judgments. Finally, the impact of treaties and laws that <br />address the international trading systems, such as GATT, the U. S. Trade Act, free -trade <br />agreements, the EEC, and the IMF are evaluated. <br />Prerequisite: None <br />6.0 Quarter Credits <br />CAP600: MBA Capstone In this capstone course, students integrate an overall management viewpoint and <br />Course specialized functions including Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Leadership, and Human <br />Resource Management to solve a business challenge. Students will conduct a literature <br />review and select a research method to address the international challenge they identify. <br />A final presentation of their research is required to pass the course. <br />Prerequisite: All other MBA Coursework <br />8.0 Quarter Credits <br />Last Revision Date on December 12, 2020 <br />
