WELCOME TO UNIVERSAL SCHOOLS & COLLEGES OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES <br />MISSION STATEMENT <br />Universal Schools & Colleges of Health & Human Services' mission is to successfully prepare our <br />graduates for new career opportunities by offering viable career options by providing quality <br />educational programs based on employer -driven requirements, creating a positive learning <br />environment that recognizes individuality and enables students to meet their unique educational <br />goals, generating excitement and fostering the desire to learn through diverse teaching methods, <br />maintaining a qualified, caring faculty and staff dedicated to the personal and professional <br />development of each student, instilling a quality philosophy in students, staff, and faculty to <br />continually exceed expectations, and preparing and encouraging students to pursue lifelong <br />learning. <br />OBJECTIVES <br />It is the objective of the Universal Schools & Colleges of Health & Human Services to train <br />individuals for entry level or higher positions in the growth -oriented fields of Allied Health and <br />Business Occupations. In order to achieve this goal, the staff and faculty are committed to: <br />1. Educate students with modern and relevant equipment in the fields of Phlebotomy <br />Technician I, Clinical Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician and Veterinary <br />Assistant. Please refer to the course descriptions in this catalog for more detailed objectives <br />for each specific course offered. <br />2. Maintain a skilled, experienced staff of instructors who are committed to the personal and <br />professional development of every student. <br />3. Continuously develop and update all curricula in accordance with current business needs <br />and demands. <br />4. Maintain contact with the business community and associated organizations through semi- <br />annual Advisory Board meetings assuring feedback and input as to labor market conditions <br />and skill shortages. <br />5.
