APPROVAL & DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS <br />Universal Schools & Colleges of Health & Human Services is a private institution, that it is approved <br />to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Approval to operate means <br />the institution is in compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC and 5, CCR. The address <br />of the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education is: 1747 North Market, Suite 225, Sacramento, <br />CA. 95834 Telephone: (916) 431-6959. www.bppe.ca.gov <br />The school does not participate in federal and state financial aid programs. <br />Universal Schools & Colleges of Health & Human Services has never filed for bankruptcy petition, <br />operated as a debtor in possession or had a petition of bankruptcy filed against it within the <br />preceding five years that resulted in reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States <br />Bankruptcy Code (11 U.S.C. Sec. 1101 et seq.). <br />All courses are taught in English and require students to be proficient in reading, writing, and <br />speaking in English. Students must be able to read and write at the 81" grade level or higher. <br />Universal Schools & Colleges of Health & Human Services does not offer instruction of English as <br />a second language. You are also encouraged to review the School Performance Fact Sheet, which must be <br />provided to you prior to signing an enrollment agreement. <br />The school catalog updated annually and is revised periodically through inserts and addendums. <br />The institution provides a new or prospective student with a school catalog electronically or printed <br />form upon request. <br />The institution does not admit non-immigrant foreign students. <br />STUDENT COMPLAINT PROCEDURE <br />Students are encouraged to bring any complaints or grievances to the attention of their instructor, <br />if appropriate. If the instructor is not successful in resolving the issue, the instructor will notify the <br />Executive Director.
