NURSE ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM (NATP) <br />In this program, students will learn the basic responsibilities of the nurse assistant and the duties <br />performed on the job, as well as documentation skills, admission, discharge and transfer <br />procedures. This course also presents the concepts and skills for nursing assistant and meets the <br />California standards and requirements. The program consists of 60 hours classroom/didactic, 32 <br />hours lab and assessment, and 100 hours of externship/clinical. The course represents all 17 <br />modules required by the state of California.
