The NTMA Training Centers does not currently offer visa services nor does it vouch for <br />student status or any associated charges. <br />Application for Enrollment for the Machinist Training Program <br />The following items must be completed at the time of application for enrollment: <br />• The application form; <br />• Entrance testing; <br />• The enrollment agreement; <br />• Various disclosure forms; and <br />• Payment of the registration fee or arrangements for payment prior to orientation. <br />High School Diploma or the Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma <br />Statutory Change: Effective July 1, 2012, Public Law 112-74 changed the Federal Student <br />Aid eligibility criteria for students who do not have a high school diploma or the <br />recognized equivalent of a high school diploma. The new law eliminated all but one <br />(completion of a homeschool program) of the eligibility alternatives that were available <br />to them. <br />This new law affects students who "first enroll in a program of study on or after July 1, <br />2012," and who are not high school graduates or do not meet the other eligibility criteria <br />as prescribed by law. Anyone without the aforementioned may pay cash or apply for <br />private loans to finance their education. The NTMA Training Centers is currently unable <br />to process private loans on the student's behalf. Attaining either a High School Diploma <br />or GED or its equivalent is encouraged. <br />Any applicant seeking to attain a GED will be provided with a list of local GED Location <br />Centers. <br />Students paying cash without a High School diploma or GED will be ATB tested by an <br />independent proctor. <br />Natural Disaster Disclosure <br />In the event the prospective student cannot provide their High School Diploma due to <br />natural disasters (i.e. fires, floods, etc), the school will have the prospective student sign <br />an attestation letter, attesting under penalty of perjury, that they graduated High School. <br />The prospective student will attempt to provide any documents, photographs, etc, that <br />prove graduation from High School. <br />Registration information: Santa Fe Springs (Main Campus) 562.921.3722 • Visit our Web site: www.trainingcenters.org <br />0 <br />
