• Make an appointment to discuss the matter with the Campus Director. If a student is <br />unable to resolve a problem informally, a written grievance may be submitted to the <br />Campus Director. <br />• The written grievance must be submitted to the Campus Director. An incident Report <br />form is available for students use and may be obtained from the Campus Director. <br />An Incident Report is not required in submitting the written grievance. <br />• The Campus Director will verify that the student has made an attempt to resolve the <br />concern informally with the Instructor or Director of Training. <br />• The Campus Director will call a grievance committee hearing within 24 hours of <br />receipt of the written grievance. The committee will be composed of the Campus <br />Director, the Director of Training, and any individuals whose participation is <br />warranted by the circumstances of the particular concern. <br />• All persons involved with the incident must be present at the time of the hearing. <br />Evidence will be presented by the student and then by all other parties involved. <br />Minutes will be taken. <br />• The committee will immediately meet in the absence of those involved to review <br />the evidence and vote on a decision. The decision of the committee will be <br />communicated within 1 business day. <br />• A student or any member of the public may file a complaint about this institution <br />with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education by calling toll -free (888) 370- <br />7589 or by completing a complaint form, which can be obtained on the bureau's <br />internet web site at www.bppe.ca.gov. <br />• As a prospective student, you are encouraged to review this catalog prior to <br />signing an enrollment agreement.
