shall be coordinated with the Zoo Education Department to best serve the Santa Ana <br />community. At no time may the exhibit be staffed solely by volunteers. <br />4.3. The CITY shall have the right to recommend the discharge of any Exhibit employee for, but <br />not limited to, the following reasons: <br />4.3.1. Theft and/or vandalism. <br />4.3.2. Sexual harassment. <br />4.3.3. Use of abusive or profane language. <br />4.3.4. Substance and/or alcohol abuse. <br />4.3.5. For any other conduct deemed by the CITY to be contrary to the best interests of the <br />CITY. <br />4.4.In lieu of staffing the exhibit, the PROPOSER may provide for consideration by the CITY a <br />standard operating procedure for the CITY to staff the exhibit. <br />5. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS AT A ZOO FACILITY <br />5.1. Unless approval has been granted by the Zoo Manager or their designate, Contractors, <br />Subcontractors, and their employees are not allowed: <br />5.1.1. To enter any paddock, holding cage, or other enclosure in which an animal of any <br />kind is housed. <br />5.1.2. To attempt at any time or in any circumstance, to touch, handle, or otherwise <br />manipulate any animal. <br />5.1.3. To cross safety barriers or enter non-public areas. <br />5.1.4. To remain on zoo grounds after violating these rules.
