Newtonian will conduct routine waste audits, which begin by assessing how waste is being <br />generated at the location: what activities or practices produce the most waste; which areas <br />tend to produce the most waste (copy rooms, conference rooms, warehouses, etc.); and <br />what is the nature of the waste. Newtonian will then implement a waste collection strategy, <br />including a method of wastecollection (trash cans, recycling bins, etc.) and disposal. <br />Sourcing Eco-Friendly Materials <br />Newtonian will make efforts to source eco-friendly materials with every opportunity available. <br />Beautification Projects <br />An exterior fagade and water feature were added to the location for beautification. <br />Recycling Programs <br />Construction materials and waste are recycled at recycling bins onsite. Cannabis waste will be <br />stored in third -party waste bins as required under State and local law. <br />Public Transportation I Wellness Initiatives <br />Eastbound and westbound bus stops are conveniently located immediately in front of the <br />Premises, which allows for better accessibility for customers, employees and tenants. <br />Several bike racks were also installed to promote low -carbon footprint commuting. Newtonian <br />shall offer shuttle services to and from offsite offices and the distribution facility as needed for <br />employees, to free up parking and transportation costs for employees. <br />Newtonian shall contact fitness facilities in the City of Santa Ana and attempt to negotiate <br />discounted Employee pricing and arrangements. Newtonian will also participate in community <br />health and wellness initiatives to encourage physical exercise and tearn-building activities. <br />Community Benefit And I Or Youth Programs in Santa Ana <br />Commitment to Community Benefit Efforts <br />Newtonian will be a member of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. As a member of the <br />Chamber, Newtonian will be informed of ever -changing issues and trends within the <br />community and local marketplace. <br />Commitment to Safety and Security <br />Maintaining safety and security is Newtonian's #1 priority. <br />Currently, the property has a security patrolling service every night of the week, 36 new <br />closed- circuit cameras to monitor all exterior areas the property, and new wrought -iron gates <br />between the buildings along the front of the property on W. Warner Ave., which enclose the <br />property on all sides with fencing -providing additional security and safety. New ADA ramps <br />were also installed to provide better accessibility for disabled persons. <br />Newtonian retained the services of experts to assist Newtonian with local and state security <br />compliance. Newtonian will work with the experts to develop, implement and oversee safety <br />and security training programs, provide crisis management support, and continually update <br />and disseminate safety and security best practices. The experts will assist Newtonian with <br />instituting proper protocols and procedures to minimize the physical and non-physical risks <br />associated with operation of a cannabis business. Such protocols and procedures will include <br />extensive periodic training, and regular detailed assessments of hazards, vulnerabilities, and <br />
