In general, projects that are subject to the modified Ordinance requirements <br />would be allowed to fulfill the affordable housing requirements in one of the <br />following ways: <br />a. Production of the affordable housing units on site within the proposed <br />market rate project- <br />b. Off -site production of the affordable housing units. <br />C. Rehabilitation of existing units. <br />d. Payment of a fee in -lieu of producing the requisite number of affordable <br />housing units. <br />4. The proposed project would be required to fulfill the affordable housing <br />requirements within the proposed market rate project if the proposed project <br />would cause the removal of existing units that are occupied by low and/or very <br />low income households. <br />1 The Developer would only be required to select one of the identified income categories to fulfill the <br />productiun requirement. <br />City Council 28 — 8 217J ia!Q2, i <br />19090 017 D21 <br />
