In partnership with elected officials in Supervisorial Districts One & Four- the Coalition <br />of Orange County Community Health Centers coordinated eight pop-up events to date (first and <br />second dose). Planning and implementation of these events was led in collaboration with select <br />member health centers. Additionally, the Coalition worked with other partners such as school <br />districts; markets; and community -based organizations to assist with planning of events; outreach <br />and scheduling of eligible individuals within these communities; and operating the vaccination <br />events the day of The Coalition has also partnered with academic institutions such a Cal State <br />Fullerton School of Nursing and Vanguard University for volunteer workforce. The Orange <br />County Health Care Agency supplied the vaccine for each event. Total Shots in Arms for 9 <br />events to date: 3,187. <br />Success in the COVID-19 Response Efforts have included the opportunity to partner with <br />key stakeholders that are part of Orange County's Healthcare Delivery System; participation in <br />the County OC Vaccine Taskforce and Equity Initiative; continued opportunity to not only <br />educate the larger Orange County Healthcare Delivery System about Community Health Centers <br />and the services provided and communities served; and the opportunity to bring to the forefront <br />the importance of the Community Health Centers in efforts related to COVID-19 response, and <br />more specifically in prioritizing health equity for the Orange County community members. <br />
