4.5.13 Eco Job -Fairs <br />Contractor shall host six (6) Eco Job -Fairs per Rate Year for Santa Ana middle school <br />and high school students to provide information on career opportunities in the solid <br />waste industry. Contractor shall provide an environmental curriculum program to <br />attendees. <br />4.5.14 Summer Internship Program <br />Contractor shall work with the City to select two (2) Santa Ana students per Rate Year <br />to participate in a two -month summer internship program for Contractor. Selected <br />students must be 18 years of age or older, and each selected student will receive a one - <br />thousand dollar ($1,000) scholarship. <br />4.5.15 Support Santa Ana College Foundation <br />At no additional cost to City or its ratepayers, Contractor shall provide an annual five - <br />thousand dollar ($5,000) donation to the Santa Ana College Foundation's scholarship <br />programs per Rate Year. <br />4.5.16 Support Local Assistance League Back to School Program <br />At no additional cost to City or its ratepayers, Contractor shall assist the Local <br />Assistance League's Project School program by assisting with the collection, <br />advertising, and distribution of backpacks, uniforms, materials and supplies for school <br />children. Contractor shall work with suppliers to donate to Santa Ana school children <br />and assist with the transportation and logistics for delivery of supplies. <br />4.6 Diversion and Processing Requirements <br />4.6.1 Minimum Recycling Requirements <br />Contractor shall Divert from landfilling a minimum of twenty percent (20%) of all Solid <br />Waste it Collects under this Agreement excluding Construction and Demolition Debris. <br />Compliance will be measured on a calendar year basis, except that compliance will be <br />measured during the first compliance period for the eighteen (18) months ending <br />December 31, 2023, and compliance during the final year will be based on a partial year <br />if the term ends before December 31 in the final year.
