Final specifications will be provided <br />in a compiled PDF document with relevant sections <br />bookmarked. Final updated versions of the Class 2 OPCC <br />and project schedule will be provided. <br />Bid Phase <br />Stantec will provide technical support during the bid <br />phase. We will attend a pre -bid job walk and pre -bid <br />meeting with prospective contractors. During the bid <br />period we will address bidder's questions and RFI and <br />prepare up to two project addenda. We assume 20 hours <br />will be needed to address contractor questions during <br />the bid period. If requested, Stantec can assist with <br />contractor prequalification, and with providing documents <br />on the PlanetBids Portal. <br />Construction Phases <br />During construction we will respond to RFI or <br />clarifications, review shop drawing submittals, review <br />requests for construction change orders, and assist <br />with final inspection of the work. A final set of as -built <br />drawings derived from the contractor's red line drawings <br />will also be prepared. The following quantities are <br />assumed for the Engineering Services During Construction <br />based on recent similar projects: <br />+ Up to 15 contractor RFIs will be reviewed and responses <br />prepared <br />+ Up to 100 shop drawing submittals and resubmittals <br />will be reviewed <br />+ Up to 5 construction change orders will be reviewed <br />+ Up to 10 meetings will be attended as needed in the <br />field to address design questions and conduct <br />structural inspections <br />+ Two final inspection site visits will be attended <br />One punch list will be generated from the final <br />inspection <br />D. CODE COMPLIANCE <br />All materials and workmanship shall be in strict <br />conformity with federal, state and local codes, <br />requirements, standards of the latest editions, and <br />guidelines, including revisions of the fallowing: <br />+ California Building Code (CBC) <br />+ American National Standards Institute (ANSI) <br />+ American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) <br />+ Department of Transportation (DOT) <br />+ California State Water Resources Control Board <br />+ Department of Drinking Water (DOW) <br />+ South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) <br />+ Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) <br />+ Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) <br />E. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION <br />When a request for service is issued to the City, we will <br />issue a fee estimate to the City's designated Project <br />Manager. Stantec will not proceed with any work without <br />the approval of the City's designated Project Manager in <br />the form of a NTP. <br />We will invoice the City on a monthly basis for all work <br />performed during the period or provide a one-time invoice <br />at the completion of work issued. Each invoice shall be <br />accompanied by a summary of tasks performed, contract <br />agreement number, results and progress on long-term <br />tasks if any. <br />3D renderings from Stantec's ongoing projects with OCWD on <br />City of Santa Ana infrastructure helps stakeholders visualize the <br />final treatment facility.
