119 <br />N203: Networking This course is for support professionals who are new to Microsoft Windows and will be <br />Fundamentals I responsible for installing, configuring, and managing a network infrastructure with <br />Microsoft Windows Server products. Preparing to teach a course on Windows Server <br />Network Infrastructure configuration, Network Infrastructure Configuration, can be a <br />challenge that requires careful planning and organization. Technology plays a role in <br />virtually every business around the world. Possessing the fundamental knowledge of how <br />technology works and understanding its impact on today's academic and workplace <br />environment Is Increasingly important —particularly for students interested in exploring <br />professions involving technology. A new entry-level credential validates fundamental <br />technology knowledge among students seeking to build a career in technology. <br />At the end of the course, students will be able to: <br />• Understanding Local Area Networking <br />• Defining Networks with the OSI Model <br />• Understanding Wired and Wireless Networks <br />• Understanding Internet Protocol <br />• Implementing TCP/IP in the Command Line <br />• Working with Networking Services <br />• Understanding Wide Area Networks <br />• Defining Network Infrastructures and Network Security <br />• Macintosh, and UNIX networks <br />Prerequisite: N201 and N202 <br />N204: Networking The course is designed primarily for IT professionals who have some experience with <br />Fundamentals If Windows Server. It is designed for professionals who will be responsible for managing <br />identity, networking, storage and compute by using Windows Server, and who need to <br />understand the scenarios, requirements, and options that are available and applicable to <br />Windows Server. This course teaches IT professionals the fundamental administration skills <br />required to deploy and support Windows Server in most organizations. To support a <br />textbook -independent teaching style, each Session plan contains suggested <br />demonstrations and explanations. These Session plans have been developed to be <br />independent of a predefined Session schedule and each session is recommended in order <br />to increase student performance and enhance the knowledge and skills gained through <br />active participation in the course.
