Caltrans D8 <br />Role: Construction Project Manager <br />Cost: $76M <br />Duration: 03/2016 — 03/2019 <br />SYRUSA Staff on Project: Jerry De <br />Santos <br />This project widened the Mojave River Bridge and constructed <br />a new West Frontage Road Bridge over Mojave River through <br />collaboration with USACE. It also featured: <br />Upgrading 4.1 miles of existing mainline to current standards, <br />• Improved traffic safety and operational characteristics of the <br />interchanges at "D" Street, "E" Street and Stoddard Wells Road <br />• Improved the aesthetics of the gateway to the City of Victorville <br />• Reconstructed existing "D", "E" Street and Stoddard Wall Road <br />interchange <br />• Widened Victorville Separation Overhead <br />Constructing a new North bound (N/B) Collector Distributor <br />Bridge over "D" and "E" Streets and Burlington Northern Santa <br />Fe (BNSF) Railroad <br />• Realigned East Frontage Road, construct new West Frontage <br />Road, and added an auxiliary lane and deceleration lane. <br />• Two northbound sound walls <br />• New and replacement landscaping <br />Over water & USACE coordination <br />SR 71 FOR SEGMENT 2 AND 3 <br />1itar <br />Client: SANBAG <br />Role: Assistant Structure <br />Representative/Assistant Resident <br />Engineer <br />Cost: $200 Million <br />Duration: 1996-1998 <br />SYRUSA Staff on Project. Jose <br />Corona, Faisal Zahlout <br />SYRUSA's Jose Corona and Faisal Zahlout were responsible for <br />the Ramona Ave undercrossing, Soquel Canyon overcrossing <br />Segment 2, Pine Ave overcrossing, and Euclid Ave overcrossing <br />for Segment 2 and 3.
