WA <br />OSO/CROWN VALLEY PARKWAY <br />Client: Orange County Public Works <br />(OCPW) <br />Role: Inspectors, Contract Manager <br />Cost: $ 1 Million (estimated final <br />amount $ 1.1 Million) <br />Duration: 11/2022 — 04/2023 <br />SYRUSA Staff on Project: Jerry De <br />Santos, Luis Negrete, Ruth Blas <br />Project includes routine maintenance to both the Crown Valley <br />Parkway Bridge and Oso Parkway Bridge to extend the bridges' <br />service life and maintain safe operation. These bridges span <br />over the Trabuco Creek and Arroyo Trabuco Wilderness Area <br />located east of Mission Viejo and west of Ladera Ranch (Crown <br />Valley Parkway Bridge) and Las Flores (Oso Parkway Bridge). <br />Periodically, public dirt trail sections directly below both bridges <br />will be closed as a safety precaution during certain project <br />activities. It repairs road surface areas along the bridges and <br />applies road surface treatment to enhance durability. New <br />stormwater drainage conduit will be installed to protect utility <br />equipment. SYRUSA is providing construction inspection and <br />contract management on this project. <br />0 Maintaining vehicle, bicyclist and pedestrian travel along main <br />city road during construction, including access to public trails <br />0 Similar project experience in Orange County 0 Over water <br />SR-210 HINGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />Client: Caltrans D7 <br />Role: Structure Representative, <br />Structure Inspector <br />Cost: $30 Million (estimated final <br />amount $31.2 Million) <br />Duration: 06/2022 — 09/2022 <br />SYRUSA Staff on Project: Jerry De <br />Santos, Ryan Vantine <br />The purpose of the project is to replace bridge hinges and older <br />bridge railings over the San Gabriel River and bring the freeway <br />into compliance with current standards. The project included <br />improvements to the existing bike and walking trails with all work <br />that impacted trail operations being performed at night with no <br />impact to trail use. This is the first of its kind CMGC accelerated <br />bridge construction/hinge replacement project in Caltrans D7. <br />Approximately 70% of the project was completed during two 126- <br />hour lane closures.
